When a buyer sees your price on MLS, they believe there is room to negotiate. Now, in this Manitoulin real estate market with higher than normal prices, that room is small. But that is only if you have priced your home properly. If you haven’t, you could find your home sitting on the market for a long period of time and that will have buyers offering lower than you want.
Coming in slightly lower than market value will get interest from people, and may mean multiple offers in the end…which may push the price higher than expected…remember, a home is worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it…so as a seller, having several buyers wanting your home is in your best interests.
